During this unprecedented time, local businesses need support now more than ever. With statewide social distancing restrictions and closures of non-essential businesses, significant hardships are being placed on local businesses.

The Speedway Chamber has developed a #SupportSpeedway campaign in conjunction with the Town of Speedway and Susan Decker Media. The campaign features two sections – one for businesses and the other for community supporters – offering ideas to help #SupportSpeedway.

Businesses are encouraged to:

• Utilize #SupportSpeedway signs, social media graphics and other promotional materials

• Share updates on social media

• Offer gift cards and other branded items

• Communicate hours of operation, services/goods being offered and how services/goods are offered

• Download and use Speedway-themed images for Zoom meetings

• Add the custom #SupportSpeedway Facebook profile picture frame

• Let the Chamber know about positive things happening in the community

• Ask customers for feedback 

• Share posts from other Speedway businesses to show support 

Community supporters are encouraged to:

• Share social media posts using the hashtag #SupportSpeedway

• Leave positive reviews online

• Purchase a gift card or branded item from a local business

• Buy items from a local retailer before ordering from a national retailer

• Order carryout or delivery

• Check on neighbors – while maintaining social distancing

• Volunteer your time if you have a specific skill set to help others 

• Download and use Speedway-themed images for Zoom meetings

• Add the custom #SupportSpeedway Facebook profile picture frame

• Let the Chamber know about positive things happening in the community

• Take advantage of videos and resources from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum

• Get creative with a racing-themed coloring sheet

• Take a break and complete a Speedway-themed digital puzzle

• Reschedule, not cancel, appointments

• Say thank you to essential workers
